In a move aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability, the Examination Control Division (ECD) of the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University (TU) has officially activated a dedicated email address—hellopangre@ioe.edu.np—to receive public complaints regarding misconduct and abuse of authority if any. The newly introduced communication channel allows students, faculty members, and the general public to report grievances directly to the division. Importantly, individuals can submit complaints anonymously, ensuring protection for whistleblowers and encouraging more people to come forward without fear of retaliation. The initiative reflects ECD’s growing commitment to good governance and ethical practices within its examination system. Complaints received through the email will be reviewed by the authorized officer of the Examination Control Division, who will take appropriate action based on the nature and validity of the concerns raised. This step is part of a broader effort to enhance institutional integrity, improve service delivery, and build trust among stakeholders. By providing a direct and confidential reporting mechanism, ECD aims to identify irregularities, address grievances promptly, and uphold fairness in its operations. Stakeholders are requested to take the initiative as a positive reform, expressing hope that it will lead to greater accountability and improved administrative practices within IOE. The ECD has encouraged all concerned individuals to responsibly use the platform to report genuine issues and contribute to maintaining a transparent and efficient examination system.
